Founding Story

The Spark of Inspiration

In the heart of our hustling city, where dreams collided with reality, a spark ignited. It was a spark that fueled by compassion, empathy, and unwavering belief that change was possible. We see, it all began with a group of like-minded individuals – people who refused to turn a blind eye to the struggle faced by their community.

The Motivation

Education, healthcare, and poverty – these were the threads that move the fabric of our collective purpose. Each member had their own story, their own reasons for joining the noble cause. For some, it was memories of childhood hunger, the ache of empty stomachs lingered long after the pangs had subsided. Others carried the weight of witnessing families torn apart by illness, unable to access even basic medical care. And then there were those who remembered the joy of learning, the transformative power of education, and the desire to share that gift with every child. We helped lots of people in our community in difficult circumstances out of compassion, with food, and other necessities over the years even though we were not a registered entity then.

The Vision Takes Shape

Late nights turned into early mornings as we huddled together in cramped apartments, fueled by coffee and determination. We debated, brainstormed, and dreamed. Our vision took shape – a nonprofit organization that would bridge the gaps, heal wounds, and offer hope was born. We named it “Community Initiative Services”, symbolizing new beginnings and the birth of something extraordinary.
